Summary

What would you do if you loved something so much, but were so aware of how... fragile, how dangerous, that certain something is? You wouldn't go and touch it, would you? Of course not, you would never interact with it directly for fear of it breaking, bruising, biting, or worse- running away from you. Why go and ruin what you have because you want more- like the greedy little dissapointment you are, when you can instead... curb your apetite, so to speak. After all, you only need a little bit of reality to enhance the fantasy, right? Who cares if a few pens or tissues go missing? It's not like anyone pays attention to that stuff. Anything to keep yourself sane while not losing what you have, right? Now all you need to do, is make sure no one finds out! Keep the emotions in check juuust enough to not spill over into reality. Be sneaky and meticulouly careful with your missions to retrieve more material to help you gaslight yourself; into thinking that certain something is going to be with you always- that it is with you always- so long as you have your little found treasures. I mean its not like that can be unhealthy or anything, right? I mean like, its not thaaat big of a deal guys- c'mon! Haha... This may be... a problem. If someones been watching you far closer than you initially thought... then what? Keep up the act? Or come clean? Are you imagining things because this is what you want? Who am I kidding- you shouldn't even want this to begin with, you freak. Although, humans are illogical beings by nature. If an emotion gets too strong, if the chances of taking that risk and actually getting more- attaining that fantasy- seems too tantilizing, too perfect... almost... probable? That the odds may be in your favor? What would you do?

Two young men have very simmilar answers to those questions. Unconventional answers, for sure. A young italian american socialite, always ready to ease through any situation and mingle with those around him- and a socially inept outcast thats just moved to the states from japan- attempt to be normal to varying degrees of success. When both of them, are anything but normal.

This is quite the project of mine. Walking you through my process here, first- I wanted to make a simple oneshot comic in the style of a doujin just... because. I wanted to do something for the sake of completing it. (this was like, a year before I ever made anything *public of them.) Thought of a basic idea, "oh okay the stalker trope is a thing, thats kinda interesting for a short story- but man! thats boring as fuck on its own... Uh, I dunno how about... Uuuuhhh the other guys is a stalker too- bingo, theres my idea." So I start drawing the thing, and as I'm doing it I'm sitting there goin'... yknow... I kinda like this concept. A lot. Like, too much to waste these characters on some stupid one shot, when this idea can probably be put in the oven for longer and woven into something a lot greater than what it is right now. I thought it had greater potential, essentialy. So now I'm goin', "okay- what am I gonna do with this then? Comics are farrr too strenouous and need wayyy too much consitency for someone with ADHD as severe as me. I need something that I can work on passively... taking on the story in short chunks to eventually put together a greater puz- OH my god wait a minute I have renpy-" So, cross off comic, and relabel; visual novel. In this 10%(?) drafted visual novel, whose file is collecting a nice thick layer of dust on my pc right now (I only opened it to see how far the story evolved, the story changed quite a bit! For the better, thankfully. While I clearly was having fun with and raging trying to figure out renpy, and the format of a visual novel- that shit was abhorrent.) you play as a third person point of view who mainly follows Daiki's story, which is already an odd choice for a visual novel that I was very dead set on for some reason? As he gets through school, meets Vincenzo, finally gets a life, etc etc. Then I dropped it because wow visual novels are work- combined with a still not fully developed story, it was a recipe for disaster. That's one summer down.

Now to this summer. I've been developing the story in my slippery little thinkchamber against my will, brain fully rotted with nothing but content of them doing donuts around my brain. They trapped me in a room full of rats and I gotta get out. So, alright i'll make one self indulgent thing of these guys for myself, before I pick up Deus Nine again and make episodic videos formatted like animatics or short stories (vivinos type stuff. big fan. discovered around pink bitch club.) stuff for them. I make the thing, don't assume it's gonna get attention, bada bing, bada boom- here we are. and man is it stressful and kinda scary LOL. As someone who reaaaally doesnt like attention this uh... is something. it is... something. just- keep paying attention to the stuff I put on the stage, ignore me hiding behind the curtains. spotlight scary. - 2024
